dedicated to the development of standardisation and certification in all
industrial and service sectors. Its aim is to contribute to the improvement in
quality and competitiveness of companies, and to environmental protection. The
company is now ready to establish an independent regional office in POLAND, a market which is considered to
be highly challenging and to have solid potential for the implementation of its
Certification, Training and Inspection products and services. They seek to incorporate an experienced,
very commercially driven, business minded and highly independent “self-starter”
as
General Manager
Located in Warsaw
who will drive, continue and rapidly enhance the
company´s growth in POLAND, with a latter view to further expanding the
company´s activities throughout other East European Markets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops
and prepares the strategic and annual business plans for the region.
Is
directly responsible for growing the customer network and business portfolio
throughout the country.
Identifies
suitable business opportunities and personally contacts targeted industries and business sectors throughout the region.
Systematically
develops institutional relations strengthening the company’s reputation as a
distinguished leader in standardisation and certification, as well as
generating new opportunities for local institutional partnerships.
Frequently
participates in both road-shows and one to one meetings in order to promote company’s
products and services.
Assists
as is required in recruitment processes for new polish support staff in the
roll-out of company’s business development plan throughout the region.
Takes
full responsibility for increase in revenue turnover and EBIT according to
established objectives.
EducationThe successful candidate will be educated to degree level and
should hold accredited postgraduate studies in Business Administration, Finance
or a similar discipline from a recognised academic institution. However, those
demonstrating high intellect and extensive relevant experience will also be
given serious consideration.
Experience required
Will currently hold or have previously held for a minimum of four
years, a relatively high profile business development or commercial position
within the Polish standards and certification industry.
The Ideal candidate will have credibility and an extensive network
across a broad range of industries, business sectors and institutions
throughout Poland.
Will have a strong understanding of the standards and certification
industry in Poland.
Further Extensive knowledge of the industry across other eastern
European countries especially Russia and Ukraine would be a significant
plus.
Fluency in Polish and English is essential. Additionally, a strong
command of Spanish would be a decisive advantage and a definitive
contributing factor to the incorporation of the successful candidate.
Must be fully IT literate and an advanced high user level of MS Office
Suite.
